MUNTIN VS LINKED HELPER

Muntin vs Linked Helper.
Including where they win.

Linked Helper is the closest thing to Muntin in the category: a desktop app running on your own machine and IP, priced cheaply. The argument here is not architecture, it is what using the thing feels like and whether you want to keep paying for it.

What is the difference between Muntin and Linked Helper?

Muntin is LinkedIn outreach software that runs on your own computer and IP, sold once for $99. Linked Helper Standard (local storage) is $15 per LinkedIn account per month and runs as a desktop app on your machine. Neither tool sends while your computer is off.

What each one costs over three years

One operator, one LinkedIn account, on month-to-month billing. Where a vendor advertises a longer commitment, the discounted three-year total is shown beneath it.

Prices read from each vendor's own pricing page on 27 August 2026. We re-check them quarterly. If you find one out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

The optional Muntin AI plan is $9 a month if you want it. Bring your own AI key and it is free. Neither is required to run campaigns. See what your $99 covers and the full cost table for every tool.

Where each one runs

Muntin

On your computer. Muntin opens LinkedIn in a real browser window docked inside the app, signed in by you, on the connection you already browse from. You can open that panel mid-campaign and watch each action happen. Your leads and messages live in a SQLite file on your disk.

The trade: nothing sends while the app is closed. Missed actions are rescheduled rather than fired in a burst, and 40% of yesterday's unused allowance carries into today.

Linked Helper

On your own computer, in its own browser, on your own IP. This is the same architecture Muntin uses, and it is the honest reason Linked Helper is the hardest competitor on this list to argue with on safety grounds.

Same trade as Muntin: it only acts while it is running on your machine.

We are not going to tell you Linked Helper gets accounts restricted. Nobody outside LinkedIn can measure that, and any vendor claiming otherwise about a rival is guessing. What we will do is publish the exact limits Muntin enforces and let you compare them.

Choose Linked Helper if

  • Your campaigns need to keep sending while your computer is off. Neither tool does this, so if that is the requirement, both of us are wrong for you.
  • You want the lowest possible monthly entry price. Standard local storage is $15 a month, and $8.25 a month on a twelve-month commitment.
  • You want a feature surface that has been built out over many years, including pieces Muntin has not built.
  • You are already set up in Linked Helper and the switching cost is not worth it.

Choose Muntin if

  • You want an interface you can learn in an afternoon. Interface complexity is the most common recurring complaint about Linked Helper in public reviews, and it is the honest basis for this comparison.
  • You want your caps, ramp state and current usage visible on one screen instead of assembled from settings.
  • You want to stop paying. On a twelve-month commitment Linked Helper Standard is $297 over three years against Muntin's $99 once.
  • You want signed, retried, replayable webhooks across about 60 events.

Feature differences, both directions

Linked Helper has, Muntin does not

  • A much longer feature list built over many years
  • A cloud storage option for the lead database
  • A lower monthly entry price
  • Longer track record in the category

Muntin has, Linked Helper does not

  • A simpler interface with the safety engine on the surface
  • Published cap table, six-week ramp and live usage against cap in one place
  • Signed and retried webhooks across about 60 events
  • Reply sentiment classification and automatic handover
  • One-time $99 licence

Muntin runs on Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 12 or newer, on Apple silicon and Intel. There is no Linux build. Integrations run through native CRM connectors, Zapier, Make and n8n, plus signed webhooks across 60 event types.

Try it against your own list.

14 days, no card. Run one real campaign and decide from what happens, not from a comparison table written by one of the two vendors.

Common questions

What happens when the 14-day trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. The app locks until you buy the license, and everything you built during the trial is waiting when you unlock it. No card is needed to start the trial.

Is the $99 price going up?

Yes. $99 is the launch price until September 30, after which the lifetime license is $199. A license bought at $99 is not re-priced or re-billed, and exactly what it covers is written down and dated on the what your $99 covers page.

Will my LinkedIn account get restricted?

No tool can promise that it will not. Muntin keeps your IP and session local, then applies conservative caps, randomized pacing, warm-up, and working hours to reduce obvious automation signals.

What happens when I close my laptop?

Campaigns pause. Reopen Muntin and they resume from the exact step where they stopped. Nothing is lost and nothing double-sends.
